FACIAL REFLEXOLOGY (SorensensistemTM)
Facial reflexology is a new generation reflex therapy in which zones and points of the face are stimulated to alleviate health conditions in other parts of the body. The treatment is unique as it combines a number of ancient therapies: Chinese energy meridians and acupuncture points, Vietnamese and Andean tribal body maps together with modern neuro-anatomy.
The success and effectiveness of Facial Reflexology lies in its ability to identify the root cause of health imbalances and to stimulate a healing process using the balancing properties of the above three disciplines.
This unique treatment system has been devised by Lone Sorensen, a Danish reflexologist who spent 30 years developing the most effective combination of these modalities and earning 3 honorary titles from the World Health Organisation for her work in the field.)
In Modules 1 & 2 you will learn a complete Facial Reflexology treatment following 7 basic steps that also include specific treatment for the organ demonstrating the earliest signs of imbalance. This treatment will take about 35-45 minutes and is an effective modality in its own right. Facial Reflexology can also be combined with massage or Beauty Therapy to give your clients an exceptional therapeutic experience and improved clinical results.
The treatment is relaxing to give as well as to receive. Using the forefingers and gently working the acupoints and facial reflex areas is easy on your hands. Not only is it therapeutic but also reenvigorates and rejuvenates the face. This form of facial reflexology is not painful and clients absolutely love it.
Facial Reflexology has particular applications in working woth brain dysfunction, learning and behavioural problems in children but also for hormonal issues and it is so effective for facial paralysis.

‘Hi Sue, I have been working with the 7 steps and besides the treatment being very deep and relaxing it seems to shift underlying problems very quickly. My client has just had the flu which affected her lungs. She had 2 courses of antibiotics. After the first Facial treatment, the lung congestion returned briefly; after the second treatment it had gone; a very quick healing crisis. Another client came in with a very foggy head and pain in her shoulder - 7 steps; more clarity and no pain. I love it...Jennifer Williams, NSW. Thank you.’
‘I just wanted to thank you for the workshop. I absolutely loved it and am completely amazed by it all.’ Tonia Walker

“It is a boost to therapist confidence to actually see results on all levels happen just that little bit quicker. The actual treatment just seems to bring a rapid response.” DT
“Facial Reflexology has offered another dimension to my practice, not only because it incorporates the meridian energy system, but also because it appeals to clients who prefer to receive the therapeutic benefits of reflexology through facial rather than foot treatments” ER
